He nodded, smiling and just holding the genjutsu as he watched him interact with it. "Yes."

[mooneye]

He stroked it, watched it for flaws in the illusion. There were none. It was lovely. Very real. He moved the bird down to perch on his forearm the way he would have moved one of Madara's hawks.

It moved like any other bird would, though it flared it's wings, sending off a shower of sparks that were hot for only a beat before they faded into nothing. "It's not very detailed, but, well, I don't get much cause for nice illusions."

[mooneye]

"I like the nice ones best." He watched the bird.

[youngesthokage]

"So do I." It was a murmur and he shifted to lean on his side, the bird, nipping at his fingers gently before trilling loudly and beating it's wings to actually take off into the sky this time.

[mooneye]

He was silent, watching it rise. The beat of the wings, the rise of the bright body toward the sky. Yes. It was an excellent illusion.

He held the illusion until it was out of line of sight, then left it go with a lingering wash of noise. "As decent as you hoped?"

[mooneye]

"More decent." He blinked up at the empty sky once the bird was gone and then turned and smiled at his cousin.

He gave him a shy smile right back, flushing slightly. "I'm glad."

[mooneye]

He leaned close and pressed their foreheads together, as he had done once before. Just brief, warm touch of skin on skin. "What else can you do?"

"All sorts of things." He blinked at him, staying still.

[mooneye]

He could kiss him again. Briefly, he thought he might. But he let the impulse pass, and drew back slightly. "Excellent genjutsu," he commented. Then, with a sly smirk. "And excellent henge."

[youngesthokage]

There was a long slow blink at that. "What sparked commenting on henge?"

[mooneye]

"I only meant that you're good at that, as well. You've kept this... transformation of yours going for a long time. Not intentionally. But still. It was obviously pretty thorough to begin with."

[youngesthokage]

He blinked, then flushed. "Ah. Well, it's very light actually. Naruto came up with it." He shook his head slightly. "It gives me a drain every few hours, but it's not constant."

[mooneye]

"Naruto?" Obito gave a squinting, doubtful sort of grin. Maybe he would need to get to know the kid better. "It's not uncomfortable or anything? Do..." He made a sort of groping gesture in front of his own chest. "...those get in the way?"

He peered down at his breasts and heaved a sigh. "They're sensitive." He flushed more deeply. "But no it's not painful in any way."

[mooneye]

"Are girls breasts so sensitive?" That was interesting. A little tidbit of information that might come in handy some day, if it was true.

[youngesthokage]

"I... suspect it's not 'women' but 'Itachi' in this case." It was a murmur and he tipped his head to stare at the sky, embarrassed.

[mooneye]

"Really?" The why of that was sort of obvious. He looked down at them, studying them really closely for the first time. "Well. They're very nice."

[youngesthokage]

He turned his gaze on them with a little snort. "I'm going to have to wear more clothes to bed aren't I?"

[mooneye]

"You could wear less." Suggested with perfect, careful cheerfulness. "Less would be good too."

[youngesthokage]

"I already just wear pants, less would have me sleeping naked, and I get -cold-."

[mooneye]

"I'll keep you warm." He reached up to trace just the smallest of touches against Itachi's jaw. "...Ahem. And I mean that in the most innocent way imaginable."

[youngesthokage]

He leaned just slightly into his hand, watching his face for a beat. "Okay."
