His breathing picked up, but he kept back from touching him, unwilling to press the limits of the man's control of accidentally invite what he wasn't sure he wanted to give. Or rather, what was available to give. There was no fighting the kiss though, and he parted his lips.

He could give him a kiss.

He lightly took what was offered--lips, teeth, the brush of tongue. He might have taken more, if he had been stirred by a touch, a tug forward, anything. But the kiss was what he wanted. When he broke it and he slid his cheek along Itachi's, pausing to breathe. Still not quite thinking, just feeling, but letting thought return a drop at a time.

He shivered, turning his head a fraction to rub their cheeks together again once the man paused, but he kept his palms flat against his thighs, quelling the desire to draw him in.

That little brushing made him shiver. Take it, Madara would tell him. But how could he? It would only break everything. He gave a full-body shudder, restraining the urge to do more, to demand more. He dropped his forehead down against Itachi's shoulder briefly, sighing, and then drew back.

He stared up at him, expression open and warm. He was far from unconflicted himself, not there wasn't a hint of regret about him, just -awareness-.

Obito met his gaze, looking a little tense and pained. But also simply affectionate. It was, after all, just a kiss.

He finally reached up and cupped his cheek, giving him a tiny, shy smile.

After just the shortest, strained pause Obito physically relaxed, and returned the smile. Ah, well.

Seeing that, he leaned up, tugging him so he was hugging him around the shoulder. "I trust you Obito-nii."

He slid his arms around Itachi as well, pressing his face against his hair. He wasn't sure if his cousin's trust was a good thing or not.

"I want to give you what I can," he said, quietly.

"I'm sorry I don't know." He tightened his arms, hiding his face against his neck.

"What don't you know?" the question was just a murmur. He stroked his hand over Itachi's hair.

"If it's okay." It was a murmur, and he closed his eyes.

[mooneye]

He was quiet. Slowly, he shifted and leaned and sat back down beside Itachi, side-to-side with him. He found his cousin's hand and laced their fingers. "It could be our secret," he said, after a while.

"I don't... think I'd be able to keep it secret." It was a murmur.

That made him smile, though a bit sadly. He was thinking ahead. What might work, if this wouldn't? He needed to meet the Kiri-nin.

He noticed and squeezed his fingers, not sure what else to say, really. "...Tea?"

[mooneye]

At first he didn't hear just what had been asked. He looked at Itachi and thought--what had he said? Oh. Tea.

"Hm. All right."

[youngesthokage]

He leaned in, brushing his lips over his cheekbone before pushing to his feet, sweeping up the other man's empty cup on his way.

He watched him walk away and then gave a quiet, rough sigh and stretched again, pulling his arms up over his head. He stood up in one graceful motion, looking around the room.

"There isn't a whole lot for entertainment in there." It was an amused voice that greeted his search as Itachi set about getting a cup for himself and refilling Obito's.

[mooneye]

"Not if we're not going to..." and that was just a grumble to himself, that trailed off into softer grumbles. But he was mostly teasing now, smiling in a frustrated way. He strolled around through the room, examining it the way he had when he first entered, in case he had missed anything.

"Obito-nii~. Tea." He moved over and setit on the small table.

He came when he was called, sliding over to the table and wrapping his hands around the hot cup.

He smiled a little and tilted his head. "Not what you had in mind, but not terrible I hope. Just don't expect any cooking."
