"No, I like it. It's easier to bundle up with gloves and a mask and everything if I need to, in cold weather." And he passed his hands down his spine, along the subtle indentations of his ribs, under the water to the small of his back.

He shifted a little to lean on his hands, which he braced on the bottom of the tub. "You always liked your goggles. Masks have replaced them?"

He pressed in harder there, against the dip of muscle, before passing his hands back up again and simply resting them on his shoulders. "Yeah. Masks are convenient. I've got some good ones."

"Whatever makes you happy Obito-nii, eh?" He looked over his shoulder at him.

[mooneye]

He just smiled at that and withdrew a bit, leaning back against the tub with his arms resting on the rim.

He hummed, then went about his own grooming before sinking down into the water.

Obito just watched him, then tilted his head back and shut his eye. Thinking about getting up and getting out. He would, in a minute.

Itachi shifted around until he was comfortably mostly under the water, though it brushed him against Obito's leg in the process. He peeked to make sure that wasn't an issue before closing his eyes.

[mooneye]

It wasn't. He was comfortable enough. And Obito only stayed still and relaxed for a little while longer before opening his eyes and shifting, getting ready to slip out and away with the least disturbance possible.

It got him to open his eyes, peeking at him though he didn't move much save to get so he could speak. "Tea should be ready by now."

"I'll bring yours, if you want," he offered. And he climbed out quick and easy, nabbed one of the towels to dry with and headed back into the other room. He'd had a pack with him, and he dug into it and pulled out loose clothes that were cleaner--by far--than the ones he'd had on.

He made a noise of negation before he was out of the room, not intending to linger -that- much longer. As it was Obito had stayed in long enough that he considered it the start of a nice soak.

It wasn't more than another ten minutes before he came out, towel wrapped securely around him as he other worked at his hair.

Obito had taken one of the cups of tea with him to the couch, setting it on the low table close by. He was lounging. Loose, dressed all in the comfortable blacks he wore to bed when he stayed at inns, damp hair hanging over one shoulder.

He peered at him for a moment before going to fetch his clothes, just a long loose shirt and pants, actually, which he tugged on before heading off to collect a brush, dropping off his towels and meandering over to Obito while quickly working through his own hair. "Do you know -how- to brush hair. The details that is."

[mooneye]

He smiled slowly. "Details? Well. I know how to do it in theory." But he was already folding his legs and turning to sit sideways, making the hair easier for his cousin to get at.

[youngesthokage]

He shook his head and sat beside him, giving a last pass through his own before reaching for Obito's. "There are some things you should and shouldn't do when brushing hair."

[mooneye]

"...Doesn't it just go... up and down?" He glanced over his shoulder but couldn't quite watch what was happening, and so sat straight again and just listened.

[youngesthokage]

"Not exactly. If you just start at the top and brush down, you'll rip your hair out." He started carefully at the ends. "And yanking your way through it anyway will just make it tangle worse the next time."

[mooneye]

There would have been quite a lot of yanking if that brush had been handed to him to use. He tried to pay attention to the way the brushing felt, the little tugs working from the tips upward. "I'm not sure if it could get tangled much worse than this time..."

"You could get the brush stuck so you would have to cut it out." His tone was matter of fact.

[mooneye]

"It's had some things stuck in it that were very difficult to get out," he admitted. "Though never a brush."

[youngesthokage]

"Brushes are designed to catch in tangles." His tone was amused and he shook his head, carefully working through the strands. "Your hair is too pretty to abuse this way Obito-nii."

[mooneye]

"Pretty?" He was bemused by that particular wording. He hadn't ever thought of the hair--or any part of himself--as especially pretty. "Not dashing and manly?"

[youngesthokage]

"Your hair goes beyond your backside, that immediately negates manly. As for dashing. Well, that would describe -you-, not your -hair-."

[mooneye]

He snorted. "I'm not sure I could pull off really manly even without the hair. Maybe halfway there, for an Uchiha."
